A passenger on the Norwegian Majesty was arrested last week in Bermuda on possession of 12 "cannabis joints," according to a report today in the Bermuda Royal Gazette. Frank Brazinski, 54, of Pennsylvania, on a week-long cruise from Philadelphia, was discovered with the stash during a random search of the ship by a drug-sniffing dog at St. George's. An NCL spokeswoman confirmed that sniffer dogs board NCL ships in Bermuda for random searches and that a passenger had been arrested on the Oct. 17 cruise. (Click the link below to read full story.)

Now if this couple were stand up comics or humor writers they might find this circumstance to be a goldmine of material. Great Current Example - Wanda Sykes in her latest HBO special titled "I'ma Be Me" - now playing on HBO. Check it out - she riffs about taking her wife (yes, she is gay) and twin daughters on a cruise with 3,200 gay men. She gets a good ten minutes of material out of the experience...and YOU WILL LAUGH!
You knew the two major mass market players had to come to blows eventually! Read all about it....(9:04 pm ET) -- A Carnival cruise ship pulling out of Cozumel late Wednesday collided with a Royal Caribbean ship docked nearby in an incident that has left both vessels damaged.
Carnival says the 2,124-passenger Carnival Legend had just untied from its berth at the popular Mexican resort town when it was caught by heavy winds and pushed into the 2,446-passenger Enchantment of the Seas.
"Extremely strong winds pushed the vessel up against the side of Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas," the line says in a statement to USA TODAY. "The (Royal Caribbean) ship was at dock when the incident occurred. The Carnival Legend sustained broken glass and other minor damage to some open deck areas."
